Christian Salerno

In Concert - House of Sun

Christian Salerno was born in 1989. He began his musical studies at the age of 12 under the guidance of M. Damiano Cavallaro, later with the Pianist, Composer and Conductor Marcello Pennuto for 7 years.

He obtained his diploma in theory and solfeggio at the Conservatory of Como and the following year the diploma of inferior achievement at the Conservatory of Milan.

In 2012 he entered the Academic Three-Year BA at the Conservatory of Como under the guidance of Maestro Carlo Bernava and in 2013 he moved to the Higher Institute of Music Studies G. Puccini of Gallarate, followed by Maestro Roberto Plano then with Maestro Alberto Miodini.

He graduated with honors in piano in March 2017 under the guidance of Maestro Maria Clementi.

In 2009, together with Giulio Cinelli, he founded the Pianosolo.it website, which today represents the first portal in Italy and a reference point for many piano students (also recommended in several books such as "Pianoforte per Negati" by Mondadori). The portal boasts collaborations with important institutions such as the Conservatory of Alessandria and AIARP (Italian association of tuners and piano repairers).

In 2011 he released his first album with unreleased music thanks to the Robino Family label. In May 2012 he plays as an official pianist at the Debutante Ball in Stresa. In March 2013 he participates in the television program "In Da Music".

In April 2014 he publishes the second disc "hidden truths" associated with the homonymous book published by Wall Records.

The Concert Songs

The concert program will be a journey to discover contemporary composers who are still alive.

We will go from Morricone to Piazzolla, from Yiruma to Allevi and then finish with a medley composed of three classics of the Neapolitan song: Tu si na cosa grande, Torna a Surriento, Malafemmena.

The authors of these pieces are the current excellences in the world.

Ennio Morricone Italian author of soundtracks for more than 300 films. Astor Piazzolla, Argentine. He who gave new life to Tango, famous for his "Libertango". Yiruma, Korean. Che the one who wrote the famous "River flows in you" soundtrack for the Twilight saga.

Yann Tiersen instead is the French composer, famous for the soundtracks of the film "The fabulous world of Amélie".

Finally Allevi, Italian excellence that has given a new market to the piano with new listeners and a new way of creating piano music.

There will also be an unscheduled program with a surprise to be discovered ...
