Pinocchio. Dal Monte Bianco ai mari di Ischia

The show "Pinocchio - Dal Monte Bianco ai mari di Ischia" (Pinocchio – From Mont Blanc to the Seas of Ischia) organised by the Fondazione Karin e Gabriele Mattera and the Teatro d'Aosta, directed by Livio Viano, will be staged at the Aragonese Castle of Ischia on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026, at 9.00 pm.
A production by Livio Viano, starring Amandine Delclos, to mark the bicentenary of Carlo Collodi’s birth: a timeless fairy tale, keeping alive the memory of Mariolino Capuano’s art.
To celebrate this important anniversary, the story of the world’s most famous puppet will be accompanied live by the music of Sandro Balmas, performed by four exceptional musicians — Michel Bonè (orchestration and guitar), Luca Moccia (double bass), Sylvie Blanc (violin), Silvia Vaj Piova (clarinet) — ready to weave together music, emotion and plot twists within the ancient walls of the Castle. A journey through innocence, growth and wonder, designed to inspire dreams in young and old alike.
